Keeping the service affordable is a good goal, but affordable doesn’t have to mean being the cheapest. Mobile detailing includes travel, setup, products, and your time, so the pricing still has to leave room for the business to grow.
For the first ten paying customers, I’d keep the process simple:
- Choose a small service area to reduce driving time.
- Offer two or three easy-to-understand packages.
- Complete a few discounted jobs to collect real before-and-after photos, Google reviews, and referrals.
- Post specific offers in local neighborhood groups instead of general cleaning photos.
- Build relationships with tint shops, mechanics, apartment communities, and other businesses serving the same customers.
- Ask every satisfied customer to book their next maintenance detail before you leave.
Track where each customer came from, how long the job took, and what remained after products and travel. That will show you which services and marketing sources can support employees later, rather than simply keeping you busy.
