How are you getting through the winter months in your landscaping business?
What are you doing to stay busy in the cold winter months.

Last year we added lawn painting to our services which was a big hit.
This year we added Holiday Lighting - and it also went well!

I would suggest getting a business plan & organize chart together to avoid having to make these decisions so late in the season. That will help you put together a framework that you can better informed decisions about your business moving forward.

We are located in the Southeast so we switch focus to tree care and planting. Next year we are going to add holiday lights. I really like the ideas above from Susan C.

We do snow removal, Firewood sales and delivery, Winter Planters, and small construction, like flooring, painting and some light building construction.

Snow and Ice management, dormant season pruning and more recently some protracted landscape projects that will continue for another year or two. Spring will be here before we know it!

We are in SoCal and are getting a lot of new homes in our area. We are posting in the local Facebook groups and going to the homes to leave our flyers. This has been working and a lot of the new homes need concrete. We will be closed for the Holidays during this slow season.
