Virtual vs In-Person Events
Thinking back on my entrepreneurial journey, I used to attend numerous in-person events for personal and professional development every year. More recently, in the post-COVID era and beyond, virtual events (like Jobber Summit next month!) have up-ticked in popularity.
I've grown to like virtual events as they allow me to attend and participate in opportunities I would never be able to travel to logistically.
Do you prefer in-person or virtual events and why? (No right or wrong answers!!)

I like in person events you cannot beat the questions and conversations after the event is over.

I personally prefer both! But have also grown to like online events.
Virtual events allow a lot more flexibility within my busy schedule, and I love the personal, human interactions at in-person events.
I think it's awesome that Jobber Summit offers two different time options for busy business owners! - JanineChambersContributor 4
I like virtual, I always feel like I miss out when I go to in person events. I don't get to see everything or talk to everyone and simply finding the time or traveling to events is hard logistically.
The biggest benefit to virtual for me is that I live in a small city with really old school ways of doing business. Virtual events have allowed me to meet more entrepreneurs and tech founders with a focus on innovating the industry and improving customer experience in home services. - wdkljanaContributor 3
Definitely both, In person events allow the opportunity to connect and focus in a more engaged setting. You can't beat the experience or the impact an in person event has. I find in person better for longer/multi faceted events.
But Virtual offers the opportunity to quickly tune in and learn in a setting that isn't too imposing on your regular every day routine/life and is great for quick info sessions.
As a working mom I appreciate being able to log into virtual events so I can still attend where I would have otherwise not been able to. But I also enjoy occasionally getting away from the kids and fully engaging in longer networking type events.

Prefer in person. So much more chance of interaction. Networking is one way we gain clients and I always score at least one booking when I go out and network in person.
