I know that when we started our service business, it was because we wanted to make sure we had options as we got older. We started the business when we were in our late 30s and our goal was two-fold: to build something that would allow us to live a comfortable lifestyle and help our children's careers with enough potential that if we chose to retire early, we could sell the business and have that nest egg to maintain an early retirement.
We have worked with different mastermind communities in the past to help us in our journey and those relationships have proved to be invaluable to us. By focusing on personal and professional development, we've been able to grow our business into a 7-figure powerhouse and now are in a place where we have real options for the future. It's risky, challenging, exhausting, stressful, but so worth it.
