How do you help employees collect tips?

Our technicians collect payment from the customer at the time of service. We don't send invoices waiting for payment very often. Even on maid service jobs, where we keep a credit card on file, there is no option to collect tips there either. We do carpet cleaning, duct cleaning, window washing and maid services. We rarely send out unpaid invoices to wait for payment which is the ONLY way to collect a tip in Jobber, that I know of.
I really think you should try the free trial with Applause. We paid 249 to get a free trial. Mention my name and perhaps they can work with you on trying it for a lower upfront cost, they have been super flexible for us. I see it as an employee and customer retention tool. In this day and age employees need these incentives and when they know that these reviews and tips have a direct impact on their bank account that day, don't be surprised how happy your customers are with the level of service they will receive based on a new found incentivization platform.
Hi Bjorn. Thanks again for the suggestion. I did a demo and they did offer to reduce the onboarding cost, but the price of the platform is nearly as much as Jobber for a system that doesn't still allow for traditional tipping. I can appreciate it's other features, but Applause still doesn't solve this pretty big issue for us. I appreciate the suggestion Bjorn.
I wish Jobber payments would just make a tipping feature available on the mobile app like everybody else does.
