Just keep in mind also how you feel when you are appreciated in situations. And makes you feel so good about the work you do about what your personality is like with the group how you mesh well with others etc. It makes people feel good to be treated it's not necessarily about the things but even saying hey I noticed this week you have done such a great job I would like to buy you a coffee or hey I noticed that you're interested in books I got you this gift card to a local bookstore. You hit two birds with one stone you know what they like and then you also support a local business. Things like that.
I like the idea of smaller but more frequent traits like coffee. That's a great one.
