I agree 100%. Looking for the values you can't really teach someone are most important to me. I can teach someone how to refill a bait station, or apply a perimeter spray to a house, fill a hole...I have had trouble teaching someone how to show up on time, be trustworthy, be dependable. Those are the qualities I look for.

I completely agree with you. Technical skills can often be taught through training and experience, but qualities like reliability, integrity, and accountability and much harder to instill. Showing up consistently, being dependable, and taking ownership of your work are traits that makes a lasting impact on any team.
