We use Indeed as a platform and Zoho Recruiting to manage the candidates. As a small business coach this question always comes up and the comment that Indeed does not work well. I like to encourage everyone if they use any platform for hiring is that they will get results if they put in the work of selecting and communicating with the candidates. There will be a lot of applicants in there that will not match your criteria. For reference per ad we usually get about 400 applicants. More than half we don't even see because of our qualifying questions - basically they do not qualify. We send questions to them and they have 48 hours to respond. We here maybe corresponding with only about 75 candidates. If they don't respond they are disqualified. If they answer and we like them then they get invited to a video interview that they can do on their own at any time. If they don't do it within 48 hours, again they are disquaified. For video interviews we maybe have about 30. Once we review the video and we like them they will get invited to an in person interview. We interview about 10. It seems leghty but it gives us good results.
