Phone integration

I love that jobber has it's own phone number I just wish we had the ability to integrate with a business VOIP system so we can call clients from the Jobber app and it calls from our ringcentral business number instead of our cell phone numbers.  Right now we have to type it directly into our ringcentral app which can be annoying trying to remember the number or switching between apps to get the number.  I do not want customers having everyone's cell phone number.  It would be amazing to click on the customers phone number and it asks which app or automatically uses the intergrated voip app.

    Just to clarify, are you referring to using Jobber on a mobile device or on a desktop computer?

    If it’s on mobile, which device are you using — iPhone or Android?

    If you’re working on desktop (Windows), I actually made a post recently about how it would be helpful if Jobber included “tel:” links in all telephone fields so numbers could be clicked to dial directly. In the meantime, I shared a simple workaround: you can highlight the phone number and click a browser bookmark that opens your phone dialer app automatically. Here

    Also, if you’re using an iPhone, you can go into your app settings and change the default calling app to RingCentral. Then when you tap a phone number inside the Jobber app, you can choose RingCentral to place the call instead of using your personal phone number.
