Changing Properties on Invoices

It's very cumbersome and difficult to change the property / address on an invoice if it is not correct from the very beginning. This is very annoying. 

Please add an option to choose a different property or add a new address in all areas an address is shown. Make it easy to change.

  • We run into this a lot too, especially in wildlife work where the service address can change from initial inspection to final invoice. One thing that’s helped us is double-checking and locking in the correct property during the job setup stage before converting to invoice, but I agree it would be a big improvement if Jobber made it easier to update without friction.

     

    It would be especially helpful for companies handling multiple properties or tenants under one client. Curious if anyone has found a smoother workflow around this?

  • +1 to this. Not an issue I run into often, but seems near impossible when needed. Also agree, Jobber seems to keep redesigning and moving things without fixing any of the many bugs, I'm also considering other options than Jobber now

  • Chiming in to agree this is a frustration. I book mobile wheel repair jobs and the clients often change the address from home to work and I see no way to change it other than creating a new job, which means i seem to lose or have to download and thenn add needed photos etc. when In a rush this has also seemed to cause me to create duplicate clients...and i see no way to merge duplicates. Would love for y'all to work on this. Thanks!

    Managing properties on Jobber is getting irritating for me, to the point where I'm starting to look at alternatives to Jobber. I was able to add a property to an invoice before now I cannot. So if I get a job on the fly and respond to it right away, and go straight to invoicing, I cannot add a property address. I'm getting quite frustrated that everything has to be long winded here. I don't understand why such a simple feature cannot be managed.

    I understand the frustration here, as I imagine this is a common pain point for some of our users. I have shared your feedback with our Product Development team. Thank you for bringing it to the community. For now, I recommend using the "create similar quote" feature on the quote or the "create similar job" feature on the job to create a new invoice. 

    Our updates and new features are implemented due to our customers' feedback. We really appreciate it every time you provide us with this feedback, and even though the change may or may not be implemented in the future, we take all feedback seriously and strive to improve!

    I agree and I've sent feedback about this as well. Same for quotes.
