Payment Method Selection Hassle

Am I the only one that gets annoyed by having to select the payment method for my client every time I create an invoice?  Some of my client pay by credit card, others ach, some checks. Why can't I just set directly on a client how they wish to pay so it defaults to this every time for that client rather than having to select this every time which on occasions allows for mistakes. Having jobber is meant to make things more efficient. Adding one extra layer of hassle every time I invoice in rather inefficient.

    Hey Jay, Thanks for the question!

    Although the preferred payment method cannot currently be saved on the client level, I recommend changing your Jobber Payment settings to accept both CC and ACH payments on the invoice and quote levels. This way, the client can choose between the two without specifying beforehand. 

    If the client wishes to pay by check, they can contact you to arrange that payment.

    If you enable all methods of payment you won’t have to select the payment method for them in advance. Hope this helps!

    Jay,

    Have you thought about reverse engineering the issue and having ALL clients pay via one method? When we started the business in 2018 we decided to ONLY accept credit/debit cards to simplify the process for our team and customers at the same time. It's been a company policy from day one.
