Map and Routing

Brief: Is there a way to see all client properties (active and inactive) overlaid with active work properties?

Context: It would be nice to have the ability to see all properties (including inactive jobs or just customers in the area) in the vicinity of an active job when scheduling. This could create opportunities for inspections, follow-ups, upsells, and general efficiency for our business. Does anyone have a workaround for this?  Ideally, it would be similar to the toggle for "unscheduled jobs" so there is still the ability to have a clean view of what work is pressing.  Preferably color coded and available on the mobile app. Any advice would be appreciated!

Alternatively, is there a way to see all clients (active and inactive) by a geographic scope (county, municipality, by tag, etc.)?

*I am aware that this view exists in part under route optimization under settings but without the ability to see active jobs.

    Hi vlang

Thanks so much for sharing this idea and for outlining how it would help your business — that’s really great context!

To make sure I understand what you’re looking for, could you let me know if either of these reports serve that need right now?

    • The Visit Report, with the location columns visible, which can show the addresses for scheduled and completed visits.
    • Either the One-Off Job Report or the Recurring Job Report, which may help visualize or filter jobs by location or status.

If those don’t quite give you what you need, I’d be happy to share your feedback with our development team about having a map view that overlays all client and job properties (active and inactive) for easier planning and routing.

  • The view under settings and route optimization is all active and inactive customers.  They should all have a pin regardless of whether or not they have an active job.  Have you checked out the heatmap yet on the insights dashboard?  It gives you an idea of which areas are the most dense based on revenue.  I would also try asking your questions of the Jobber Co-Pilot to see if it can give you some AI insight into your inquiry.  Is there a certain metric you are trying to determine?
