Scheduling with recurring customers and new customers.
I am curious as to how other cleaning companies handle their scheduling within jobber. We are a residential and commercial cleaning company with recurring customers and always accept new jobs. We have about 215 recurring residential customers. How do other cleaning companies layout their schedules/handle their scheduling?
How we currently handle the scheduling is we travel to certain areas on certain days (same areas on the same days each week). We set all customers to the frequency they are looking for (weekly, every 2 weeks, etc) and it has to be on the day of the week that we are in their area. Their Jobs are listed as "Anytime" but if they have specific preferences for times such as AM or PM, we add the preference to the instructions for the job. Each week, I layout the jobs manually on each of Team Leads day based on optimal travel routes and preferred times.
We are finding that this is getting to be too much trying to juggle all the preferences manually. Sometimes preferences change due to an appointment the customer needs to work around etc. Just looking for some insight on how other cleaning companies or even companies with recurring customer handle this.
