This is a really interesting approach. I think one of the biggest takeaways for me is not to assume I know why my clients value working with me. It's easy to focus on the technical side of what we do, but our customers often remember the experience more than the process.
As a residential designer, I can see how looking for recurring themes in reviews could completely change the way I talk about my services. Instead of guessing what resonates, I'd be using the language my clients naturally use.
Thank you for sharing this. It's definitely given me a new marketing exercise to work on.

Customers will always remember more how you made them feel than the things you do or say to them.

Thanks again for sharing this exercise. I don't think I would have looked at my reviews this way otherwise, and I've already started applying what I learned to my brand, marketing, and even how I talk with potential clients.
Instead of focusing primarily on what I offer, I've found myself spending more time helping people feel confident in the process and understand what to look for as they evaluate their options. It has shifted my mindset toward putting the serving back into the service business.
I appreciate you sharing this. It has been one of the most valuable marketing exercises I've done.
