Before now i used to give space and say i don't want to push to much, i realized i was loosing jobs and contract. Now i follow-up aggressively and often times, it has got me more job than not. However, clients differs, have different follow-up strategy.

I agree that follow-up needs to happen. A lot of jobs are lost because we assume silence means no, when really the customer is just busy or distracted.
The key is matching the follow-up to the lead. A hot commercial lead, a price shopper, and someone who already said “not interested” shouldn’t all get the same sequence. That’s where aggressive follow-up can work well if it still respects the customer’s signals.
