Sponsorships require a different playbook than normal business funding. You’re not just asking for money, you’re offering exposure, branding alignment, and a return on visibility. You basically got to be a partner with them and share responsibilities and pressures.
The best thing that’s worked for us is building a short slide deck (5–7 pages) that goes over:
• Who we are and what we do
• Who our audience is
• What exposure or benefits a sponsor gets
• Previous partnerships or wins
• Clear asks (sponsorship tiers or support options)
