What I kept hearing was that people wanted someone knowledgeable they could trust to actually look at their lawn and make the right call ā not just show up and spray. They wanted competence, not just a service.
Now I use that in every first conversation with a prospect. I'll mention that a lot of my clients say they chose me because they wanted someone who could diagnose what their lawn actually needs and make proper recommendations. Then I ask if that's something they value too. It reframes the conversation before price even comes up.
