We work in High-Rise condo buildings offering window services so often we reach out to board / managers of the building talk to engineers get approval for presentations in the building. This allows us face to face expo style presentations with potential clients (unit owners). We also do occasional mailings but yes, a lot of what we do is also word of mouth and references from past customers. I feel in today's world everyone is bombarded with emails and text messages they just ignore most of it. The best way is finding a way or create an event to get in front of potential customers in person in a live interactive setting. Maybe sponsor some event in the community you want to work in for example in our area many sponsors will do a trunk or treat event during Halloween; hand out candy to kids and in the meantime socialize and passively talk to their parents about your services. Branding and Name recognition is what you want when they go looking for someone offering what you offer, you could also have some small handouts like a brochure or something they can take with them. Try to be creative and support some good causes in the communities you are looking to work in.

We are a residential cleaning company. Google ads, SEO works well. One thing that is very interesting that we are starting to get great engaged leads through AI platforms. I am amazed as to how much people are believing AI referrals.

Can you explain the leads through AI platforms, what do you mean by that?

We do commercials and residential honeybee removals, from structures. We are exploring paid marketing routes now but our traffic has been 100% organic, so far.
We started off doing the removals ourselves, got to the point that there were more jobs that we could take and started the referral/lead acquisition side. Eventually, that became too much and we stopped doing the removals and focused on connecting customers to high quality removal specialists.
This was purely a passion project that we have done since 2016 and never charged for our services. We shifted gears, last year, to treat this more like a business because we realize there is value but also a cost that was coming out of our pocket more and more each year.
