I agree this feature is needed. At the moment the timesheets only allow job timers and general timers, but we would also like an assessment timer

Hey Josh2289 - can you share a bit more about what you are looking for?

I want to see how long a tech is on a survey before a request is converted

The best option to track time on the request would be to schedule it as an on-site assessment under the tech or sales persons name. If you need them to track their time to the actual assessment the only real option would be to have them use a general timer while they are on-site and make a note on the timer or within the assessment that they were at the assessment.
If assessments are considered billable time, set it up as a job as opposed to an assessment. - AidenStrehleContributor 3
I think to solve your issue here is to have your crew or sales member use the general timer and make notes. You can also put notes in the on site assessment for how long the assessment took.

Also want this feature. Ability to clock into a custom field, request, quote, job, or task. Ability to edit while clocked in. Ability to take a break, show lunch breaks, insert lunch break after clocking out without tons of edits.
Id like to see how much time is billable and unbillable and have categories useful for making business decisions!
