AI works fine for after-hours, basic routing, and spam filtering, but it struggles with urgency and trust — both critical in HVAC. Outsourced teams can work only if they’re HVAC-trained and focused on booking, not just answering.
Early on, owner-answered calls usually convert best. A common winning setup is: owner during business hours, AI for nights/weekends, then transition to a trained CSR once volume justifies it.
