For us non API people, where would you point us to learning about API's or Jobbers API? I'm wondering if there is a youtube vid out there where a beginner could start? I'm fairly tech savvy so I've been slowly thinking about this more and more.. Thanks.
Lots of videos on apis generally but just think of api as a pipeline. Most apis are two way pipelines but some are one way... meaning you can usually update back and forth between two apis but there are some out there that only let you pull data or push data. Jobbers can do both. I don't think there's a video on Jobber's API specifically but anyone doing API integration and probably database infrastructure can teach you a lot. Jobber's API documentation is at developer.getjobber.com.
What is a general setup within the Jobber Developer portal when creating an app? How do you pull the data from the Jobber App and where do you funnel the data to?
I've tried playing around in the Jobber Developer portal but had no luck establishing a connection.
