ChatGPT with Jobber
Anyone doing anything cool with this ? I'm thinking it could be used for estimating... any other neat things people are doing. Right now all I'm doing is putting some invoices from the wholesaler...

Love this thread! It's great to look back at how people here were using AI a couple of years ago: WiringByron's cleaning up field notes, ryaantuttle's custom estimator, and Carl_Jarvis's training a CSR on his SOPs.
Seanroz mentioned that connecting AI to Jobber was "a hassle aside from manually uploading CSV files," and WiringByron was copying and pasting between the two. Jobber now has an official ChatGPT Plugin. It links your Jobber account directly to ChatGPT so you don't have to export and upload CSVs anymore.
With it, you can:
- Ask questions about your clients, jobs, quotes, invoices, requests and schedule in plain English, using live Jobber data
- See what needs your attention without digging through reports
- Create new clients, properties and requests from a chat
WiringByron's original CSV workflow becomes a quick question, like "Which invoices are still outstanding this month?" ChatGPT also supports Projects where you can upload your SOPs, price lists and manuals, much like Carl's custom CSR setup, and it can pull live Jobber data on top of that.
