ChatGPT with Jobber
Anyone doing anything cool with this ? I'm thinking it could be used for estimating... any other neat things people are doing. Right now all I'm doing is putting some invoices from the wholesaler...

I have a Handyman business in the UK and worked on the tools for many years until managed to build systems and work on my business as opposed to in my business. Quoting has always been a nightmare and it's been one of the biggest bottlenecks i've came accross apart from hiring subcontractors.
I know live in Vietnam and operate my business remotely while I build systems and processes that automate and streamline.
We heavily rely on Whatsapp quoting now as it's a win-win for us and the customer but we have a lead scoring matrix system which decides if this is viable.
This sounds awesome - being able to live in another country while keeping things running smoothly really shows how well it's all running for you! Well done!
Do you mind sharing any info about how your lead scoring matrix?
And using WhatsApp for quoting - is this purely so you can see photos & videos of the work instead of having to be on site?

We have built a an Ai scoring system based of many variables such as estimated job value, complexity, job variables etc
Some of the rules:- Online Quote: Suitable for simple, standardized jobs with clear requirements, low complexity, and costs under £300.
- Video Quote: Best for medium complexity jobs needing visual assessment in the cost range of £200-£800.
- Site Visit: Appropriate for complex jobs or high-value work, such as structural or electrical jobs, costing over £500.
We analyse:- Job Complexity
- Information Completeness (dimensions, materials, access)
- Need for Visual Assessment
- Risk Factors (scope creep or complications)
- Value Range (estimated total cost)
- Customer Urgency
This framework allows us to choose the highest-scoring method based on job characteristics.

So that first part where you are giving it info and it's deciding that I need a virtual quote. That's all ChatGPT? And it's living on your website? Can you tell me more about that part? How do you do that instead of creating a custom GPT and having it live on open AI's site? I find that really cool.

We not only see a future this in "handyman services" but other trades to with some tweaks.
Yes it's all GPT even though we are testing other models all the time. We have built a scoring matrix so your input(job description) will be queried against multiple variable that would be crucial in determining the best outcome is selected(Online quote, Whatsapp video, Book a site visit).
We are using the GPT API to link our front end and constantly improving with a training game which allows us to improve our model.
