Who told us we don’t belong and what happens when we build anyway?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot as I build in spaces where people don’t traditionally expect us to be especially in technology and innovation.

For a long time, many of us have been told, directly or indirectly, what industries we “fit” into. But what happens when we stop waiting for permission and start building our own lanes?

That’s what I’m doing with Epitome Clothing Company and the development of EpitomeXR and VizorXR creating something that blends culture, fashion, and immersive technology in a way that reflects us.

I’m curious what industries have you felt overlooked in or underestimated in? And what would it look like if you built something there anyway?

I believe the next wave of innovation won’t just come from traditional paths it’ll come from people bold enough to create new ones.
