Team Tasks

Does anyone have any good tips for assigning Team compliance tasks like having to carry out equipment checks or risk assessments when on site.  I've built the checklists etc in Job Forms but struggling with how to assign this as a task (Job) without attaching to a client.

  • That isn't very helpful though. I'm having the same issue. There should be an option for team tasks that are not jobs. We need options that are internal and have nothing to do with payments or clients.

What I need is a daily checklist for my team. I need them to manually check off tasks. If they check the box but didn't do the task then it's a writeup. These tasks have nothing to do with the clients but things like "Clean your vehicle", and "Turn in checks".

I can do this on paper, but that defeats the point of using Jobber to be paperless. I also don't want to have my people download more apps to accomplish this.

  • I recently created a Google form that has all of the checklist items that i need completed at the end of each day.  I then created a task in jobber for each of our team leads for 5pm daily with the hyperlink to my google form.  Basically at the end of their shift, they are required to click that link and fill out the form. The responses go directly to our field ops manager.  And then the team lead marks the jobber task complete after they've done it.  It has been a great workaround for us.  I hope this helps!

Hey Laura! I would suggest creating a calendar task. You do not need to assign those to a client.
