Client Communications
I would like to see space to log our own client communications - not in notes! For example, when we chase quote, we sometimes email but other times we call the client. Unfortunately there is no where to log that they were called including date and time unless i put it in the notes on the quote. Or the notes on client page, which then does not include the items sent via Jobber. It would be handy to have a communications area that we could add communications too that also included the quote number to so we could search and see only communications related to that particular quote. This feature would be particularly handy when dealing with property managers who have 10 sites in quote stage.
Some Much Needed Fixes in Jobber
Jobber just updated Booking Forms so that customers can now book directly to the schedule like how Online Booking and the AI Receptionist does it. This a great update and gives real purpose to the booking forms. BUT... there's a couple things.. Customers can only book Business Day(s) Away. Weekends are not possible. I literally watched my AI Text Receptionist argue with a customer saying Sunday is not possible when it very much is. Most businesses on Jobber are service companies and also need a dropdown to change Days Away to Hours Away. If our schedule is wide open: A - We're missing out on jobs B - Customers are going to find someone else that's faster. I created a Automatic Approval and Auto Payment Form. The most reasonable way to do this was by making a custom booking form. It's fine. It works. But an optional signature box like how there is on Job Forms would be extremely useful. Other issue: My last employer was a Plumbing, Heating & Electric business that used Service Titan. There were hundreds of line items. Service Titan allows a manager to create folders for the line items. There was one for Plumbing, Heating, etc. It kept things very organized. Pulling this off in Jobber without folders or any means of organization would be a nightmare. Searching is not reliable enough as nearly everything in the trades has multiple names. For example: the thing you connect your garden hose to can be a hose bib, spigot, sill **bleep**, hose connection, etc.
New to Jobber, Quotes including pictures worth it?
Hey guys, I wanted to hear your thoughts on jobber quotes not including pictures for estimates in the core package? We are a full service property maintenance & Landscaping company. Anybody switch from core to grow because of it? We have a small team but growing. Last crm did have this feature on their middle plan and our clients loved it. It was extempore helpful to us as well. Was wondering if this is something we should switch to that would make a huge difference?
