Why Cleaning Services Aren’t ‘Too Expensive’ Let’s Talk About It
I need to say something that most cleaning business owners are probably thinking but don’t always say 👇 When people say “that’s too expensive for cleaning”… I think a lot of folks don’t realize what actually goes into it. We’re not just wiping surfaces or doing a quick tidy. We’re scrubbing bathrooms, kitchens, floors, baseboards, moving constantly, and putting in hours of real physical labor to make a home feel brand new again. We also bring our own supplies, travel to each job, manage scheduling, and make sure every detail is done right not rushed. So when pricing reflects that level of work, skill, and time… it’s not random. It’s actually what keeps the quality high and the business running. I respect everyone’s budget, but I also think there needs to be more understanding of what “cleaning” really involves as a service. Curious what others think, do you feel cleaning services are fairly priced, or is there still a big misunderstanding about the work involved? 👀7Views0likes0CommentsRoll call! Hello everyone I'm Christopher Flores and I am coming up in completing my first year in business as a mobile mechanic in El Paso Texas. A little bit about myself I just recently completed my Multidisciplinary associate and bachelor's degree from El Paso Community College and the University of Texas at El Paso. I also have two more classes to complete two more associate degrees in Business and Psychology, and I have started my fourth associate's degree in Automotive Technology. I have about ten years working on my personal truck and my family's cars, but I never really liked it until I took an anger management class. Now working on cars is a real joy and gives me a lot of pride when I complete a job. What I also like about working on cars is that it is much easier on my body since I worked many years in construction and have been through several car accidents. I recently found this webpage through an ad on FB for a grant opportunity for my business. I took the chance and applied and joined the Jobber community. I'm liking what I'm seeing and hope to get helpful insight to running and operating a business. I haven't seen a specific industry topic for mobile mechanics or automotive services. But if anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it. It is kind of hard to believe but there are many mobile mechanics and field mechanics working on small to large industrial equipment. And the average person usually thinks you would need a shop with thousands of dollars of tools, lifts, and scanners and you wouldn't be wrong, but you would be surprised what you can do with what you can fit in your truck.Roll Call! Good morning, I am a new business, about two years old. I have mostly stuck with my basic services of Lawn Mowing, edging, trimming and blowing everything clean. However, i recently rebranded and updated a list of new service. Mulch jobs and flower bed weed clean out, so Weed and bed Maintenance. My question, how do you all quote mulch jobs or weed clean out like this? I have searched only and see so many different ways, figured i would ask here. Just looking for tips and tricks.326Views1like2CommentsRoll call! Meet & introduce yourself to other Green & Exterior Service pros
