How can I re-build my business from ground zero?
Hi my name is Jeremy Lesser, I am the Business Owner/CEO of a small residential painting and home improvements business. I have been in business since 2022. After about a year or so of being in business, I about called it quits and started doing Maintenance Engineering. Well having my own business doing what I love to do the most which is drywall and painting, has been a dream of mine since I first started doing drywall and painting 15+ years ago. I want my business to succeed. I have a perpetual LLC. for my business, so I would like to build my business back and Lord willing watch it grow this time. I have more patience and knowledge in it. How can I build my business with zero income and zero revenue? I have been applying for grants. Please help! Thank you and God Bless. ~Jeremy Lesser~108Views0likes3CommentsHow fast are you sending estimates right now?

Does anyone here charge for estimates? I've been thinking about this for a while and curious if anyone has found success with it. I run a handyman business and solely focus on active listings for realtors. I've found that most of the time, when buyer's agents call for me to look at inspection punch list items, they never call back after I send the quote. I can only assume they're using my quote as leverage in the sale to get some sort of credit or concession from the seller. Now I'm thinking of asking which side of the sale they're on and charging if it's the buyer side, or just charging all around. Obviously, our time isn't cheap so I want to honor that. If you're charging for estimates, what kind of rate are you charging?Solved362Views2likes10CommentsYou Get One Billboard.....
If you had one billboard for your business, just a few words seen by thousands of people every day, what would it say? The one message that really explains what you do best and why a customer should choose you over anyone else. Think about what makes your business different, what your best customers appreciate most, or what you wish people understood right away when they hear your name. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s answer!247Views2likes6CommentsWhat Monthly Services Work Best for a 55+ Community?
Hi guys, my name is DJ Iona, a small handyman business. I’m mostly servicing a 55+ elderly community. Are there certain any tips or items of monthly maintenance that you see most beneficial as an offer offering for a monthly subscription model? Are you guys seeing the subscription model work for your businesses? I’d love to hear any input regarding that. Some of these folks are snowbirds and our absentee owners for five months out of the year? Hello Jobber world, I am a small Canadian owned and operated pest control company operating in Toronto, Ontario. I am putting this message out to try to get in touch with a small commercial cleaning, landscape and junk removal company to share some work. Also open to creative ideas also, pressure washing comapnies, HVAC, construction, lawn care...anything we can do as small business owners to share the work. My business model is a full service pest control company, and all three of these services are going to be offered to my customers due to the importance of each. I plan to do most of it myself at the beginning, but would like to have some other local Canadian owned small business owners to share work leads. I do not want to work with a large operation to outsource work because I am a huge believer in owner/operated businesses, hence why I (and likely yourself) started my own business I would love to hear from anyone reading this and you can email me anytime at pestfreecanada@gmail.com132Views1like1CommentSeeking ideas for developing power partnerships to better work with clients & grow our biz?!!
Hi all, We are a local fire protection company here in Los Angeles and we do both sales and service of fire extinguishers, as well as specialty fire equipment and resources. I am putting this question out there both for connections and suggestions on best developing power partnership with other local companies that work with residences, properties and businesses, to help collaborate on our services provided and add more value to them and more revenue to both partners. Example of our power partners are roofers, GC's, management companies, HOAs, solar companies, fire and water damage companies, Security and locksmith companies, Insurance agencies... Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions and love to work with you as well, if we could benefit from partnership. This, would be a more effective way to grow our businesses than social media or other passive ways I believe! Payam. Lavi | Supervisor PalFirePro.com190Views4likes3Comments
