Xero intergration
When integrating with xero, does the customer recieve the invoice from xero or jobber? I currently invoice via xero, I want to smoothen my work flow and integrate but thought I'd ask here first, how was the process? (Don't want to mess my books up and create extra work for myself) TIA 👌66Views2likes4CommentsJobber jobs to QBO projects integration
Has anyone tried to extend the QBO Jobber integration to link a Jobber Job with a QBO project? We are an electrical contractor and have numerous suppliers and many components we use. All of them are entered into QBO. Our field team uses Jobber. I want to use the QBO projects to track project profitability. Which means three enhancements are needed: 1 - Jobber Job creation triggers a QBO project for the same customer. 2 - Time sheets from Jobber need to be updated to tag the customer and Job in QBO 3 - invoices would need to also be linked to from project to job. The job numbers in jobber could be used in QBO to create the linkage e.g. they can be used in the project name.28Views3likes5CommentsDid you know you can adjust the due date for an invoice?
Most of you may already know this, but I am here for those who don't! In the Jobber settings you can adjust the date that your invoice is due. Mine was set to NET 30 (30 Days) which is a really long time for a service. I adjusted it to NET 10 to give some time and not seem overly needed to my customers. What do other companies have their due date set at? Does anyone have their due date set to the same day? Has anyone set theirs longer?5Views1like0CommentsHow do you manage different level Service Contracts in Jobber?
We are currently offering one service contract; however, we are looking to create three tiers. We would have a Silver, Gold, and Platinum package. Each package/membership would offer something different. How could we effectively manage this in Jobber to keep track of which clients are on which level package? How many visits they have/have used? Payments? Etc.53Views0likes2CommentsThird Party Payment Platform Integration
Hi all, We're based in Australia and don't have access to Jobber Payments/Wallet (yes I'm devastated about it and have been patiently waiting for years 😭). We are just chasing more and more overdue invoices so we are desperate to get an automatic payment platform in use and are going to pull the trigger very soon. The one we're looking at is Pinch Payments (https://getpinch.com.au/). The problem we'll have to deal with now is that it won't sync to Jobber. It will record payments to QBO, but then we need to have these payments recorded to Jobber. We can get our admin staff to do this, no biggie. But I'm wondering if anyone else outside US/Canada has implemented a third party payment solution and what process you're using? I believe there should be a way to automate this using tools like Zapier or N8N, but I just don't have the knowledge or time to investigate this myself. Cheers!40Views0likes3CommentsBuilding an AI online bid?
I have been messing around with the idea of creating a way for my customers to submit some information on their own through our website and AI provide them their bid for painting. Has anyone done this? Have any ideas on how to do it? And what could be the potential pros and cons of this? I'm thinking that it would need to have a customer login & portal. There would need to be a way to upload additional files. Pictures and videos of project. There would need to be a fee that is charged to use this service to try and gatekeep competitors from using it. The fee would be removed if the job is landed. There might need to be an agreement signed that unforeseen work that wasn't included in the submission could result in a change order. What would you add?33Views0likes2Comments🚨FEATURE REQUEST: Tiered Pricing on Products & Services 🚨
Hey Jobber Team and Fellow Pros, Let’s talk about a feature that could seriously boost close rates and make Jobber even more competitive for all of us who quote services, manage inventory, and work in price-sensitive markets. What we need: Tiered Pricing on Products and Services — customizable pricing where the unit cost automatically adjusts based on quantity ordered. Why this matters: We already price materials like mulch, sod, and stone this way in real life. It would speed up quoting, improve estimate accuracy, and help us win more jobs. It mirrors how customers expect to see pricing — more they buy, less they pay per unit. How it would work: Let users define pricing tiers for any product/service: 1–10 units = $10/unit 11–50 units = $8/unit 51+ units = $6/unit These price breaks should auto-calculate during estimate creation and carry through to invoicing. Why Jobber Should Care: Makes Jobber more competitive vs. other platforms offering advanced pricing features. Helps your users convert more jobs = more usage and more loyalty to Jobber. Reflects real-world pricing logic we already use outside the app. If you'd use this — drop a comment or like to help get this in front of Jobber’s dev team. Let’s get this done together!283Views7likes8CommentsFeature Request: Hourly Line Items That Auto-Track Labor Time
Hey Jobber Team and fellow users, I’d love to see a feature added that allows us to mark a Job or Line Item as “Hourly,” where Jobber automatically tracks labor time during a visit. (yes, labor time is already tracked, but it does not populate invoices automatically with the labor time total) Here’s the idea: When a team member clocks in and out for a visit, Jobber would log the total man hours and automatically populate that into the invoice line item when it’s generated. Example: If a visit takes 3.5 total man hours across the crew, and the rate is $60/hr, the invoice line would automatically show: Labor (Hourly) — 3.5 hrs @ $60/hr = $210 This would be a huge time-saver and ensure invoices accurately reflect labor hours without needing to manually edit or calculate them later. Why it matters: Eliminates human error in time-based billing Speeds up invoicing for hourly work Keeps job costing more consistent and transparent **Would also love to see labor time displayed in decimal!** Would love to hear if others are interested in this too — and if Jobber could consider adding it as a future update!75Views1like2CommentsEasily add processing fees to jobs...
I was browsing around here and found a post asking about adding credit card fees to jobs and what is the best way to do it. I was suprised that no one mentioned the way I do it so I commented on the thread. I wanted to make a new one incase others would find it helpful. I provide admin services to Jobber users and I have a client that had this problem a while back. Once we put this in place it was super easy and quick to add any kind of fee by a percentage amount. Go to your tax settings and create a TAX RATE. Name it whatever you want to call your added fee (convience fee, processing fee, whatever but remember customer's will see this name) and put in the percentage. Then go back to tax settings and create a TAX GROUP. Now you can link together your regular tax and the convience fee by putting them in a group. Whatever you name this tax group will not be visible to customers. Now when you are editing the quote/job/invoice you can chose what tax you want added to the subtotal by clicking on the tax name. So you can easily and quickly add CC fees or choose your regular tax fee if they are paying with cash or check. All tax rates and tax groups from your tax settings will be listed here. As you can see, it automatically adds the appropiate percentage to the total so you can charge that through Jobber Pay. I hope this helps! You can make as many groups as you need depending on your situation. This is also how you would charge both state and county tax for those areas that might have that although I'm sure you already figured that out.44Views3likes4Comments
