Our Painting Service Contract!
I have a painting service contract for our customers. It has worked out well for the last year but we haven't signed up a lot of customers. I think we have 15 customers on service contracts right now. I really want to vamp this up but I am hoping to get insight from other businesses on best practices for service contracts. I'm also trying to figure out if I should just sell as many as I can and then hire a full time person to service those clients, or keep slowly adding them until I can hire someone full-time to do it. I have been hesitant to go after this super hard because I don't want to be in a position where I can't get to our service contract clients for too long.33Views0likes1CommentLooking to collaborate with Junk removal, landscape or cleaning companies.
Hello Jobber world, I am a small Canadian owned and operated pest control company operating in Toronto, Ontario. I am putting this message out to try to get in touch with a small commercial cleaning, landscape and junk removal company to share some work. Also open to creative ideas also, pressure washing comapnies, HVAC, construction, lawn care...anything we can do as small business owners to share the work. My business model is a full service pest control company, and all three of these services are going to be offered to my customers due to the importance of each. I plan to do most of it myself at the beginning, but would like to have some other local Canadian owned small business owners to share work leads. I do not want to work with a large operation to outsource work because I am a huge believer in owner/operated businesses, hence why I (and likely yourself) started my own business I would love to hear from anyone reading this and you can email me anytime at pestfreecanada@gmail.com27Views1like1CommentCommission Tracking for Jobber
Hi Everyone, I run a lawncare/landscaping business and more recently started Crew Insight (A Jobber marketplace App). Right now, the app is focused on KPI's and metrics but many of our users have asked about commission tracking. We've built out a small MVP and a waitlist to see how we can prioritize features and the roll out. I'd love to hear what types of commission plans people have right now, and how they're tracking it. We want to make it simple to build out your commission plan, track the calculations, and give your employees a real time view into their performance. If anyone's interested in chatting or signing up for the beta, you can do so here: https://crew-insight.com/waitlist15Views0likes0CommentsHave you ever landed a big job from a single email?
Email came up in a big way in this episode of Masters of Home Service. Phil Risher and Stephen Jobe joined Adam and dug into why most pros are leaving money on the table by not emailing their client list often enough. Stephen even shared how one candid email pulled in $93K in revenue! Have you ever landed a big job from a single email blast? We’d love to hear about it below👇 Never miss an episode of Masters of Home Service. Hi all, We are a local fire protection company here in Los Angeles and we do both sales and service of fire extinguishers, as well as specialty fire equipment and resources. I am putting this question out there both for connections and suggestions on best developing power partnership with other local companies that work with residences, properties and businesses, to help collaborate on our services provided and add more value to them and more revenue to both partners. Example of our power partners are roofers, GC's, management companies, HOAs, solar companies, fire and water damage companies, Security and locksmith companies, Insurance agencies... Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions and love to work with you as well, if we could benefit from partnership. This, would be a more effective way to grow our businesses than social media or other passive ways I believe! Payam. Lavi | Supervisor PalFirePro.com82Views4likes3CommentsSales Marketing

I was wondering if anyone is running a multi-department business under one Jobber account and what you do to keep the line items from becoming a huge mess. I own a plumbing business and I want to expand into HVAC and electric, but I'm wondering how that would be possible with one massive list of line items. Thanks!59Views0likes1CommentHello Community- I need help

I'm in Ontario and we have used Yellow Pages for the entire 13 years we have been in business. I want to get away from them. They look after my website and SEO's. Thats about it but I feel like we are over paying them and not seeing results. Anyone else in this boat?209Views1like2Comments
