How do we get the old Time Sheets Screen?
Hey jade ! I'm tagging you just because you've posted in here the most. Previously, the employee time sheets screen was a lot more usable than it is now. You used to be able to see a GPS button, right next to the clock in for the day and it would pop up a map where you can see all their pings for when they used the clock. This was SOOOO useful! We could see if they actually clocked in onsite without having to go to the waypoint report on another screen. I do love that this information is accessible but is there a way to marry the timesheets form and the employee waypoint form again? I feel like the new timesheets form is a step backward in usefulness compared to what it was. Additionally, we were able to make customized entries really easily (like if we had to add a lunch of something) from that very same screen. Love the product - just wondering if there's a way to either access the new screen or can you put a bug in someone's ear to bring back some of the old functions?HUGEHomePros16 hours agoVerified Community Coach5Views0likes0CommentsSell me on Jobber vs Quickbooks Time
My employees struggle to ever set up the Quickbooks Workforce app, which ask them to scan a QR code to finalize set up, but they're setting up from their phone and can't. Has anyone tried both timesheet apps? I'd love to know pros and cons.Solved97Views1like4CommentsHow To Get Non-Admin Employees to Receive Job Notifications in Jobber?
Only admins seem to receive two-way text messages and notifications (quote viewed, deposit received, changes requested, etc.), but I can't make all my employees admins. Has anyone found a workaround so non-admin team members get notified too? How is everyone else handling this?sunsetgates2 months agoContributor 2245Views1like3CommentsNew Team @ Feature in Jobber
Hey guys, we are really loving this new feature for our team communications and being able to answer questions for each other, having the correct context. Where are the out of the box thinkers in here? Who's using this feature already and using it really well?? I feel like there is a bit of task management to this new feature as well. It's powerful.WiringByron2 months agoVerified Community Coach89Views0likes2CommentsWhat tools are anyone using for team communication?
The internal communication in Jobber is not robust enough for multiple team members, especially when we may be working on the same customer/job at different times. Features needed: - ability to mention/tag other team members so they are notified of the comment or message - keeps the communications "within Jobber" at least in knowing which customer the communication pertains to Is there a 3rd party tool/plug in that anyone has found useful for this need? Or even better, Jobber team, is there any plan to deploy this as part of a standard feature?841Views5likes12CommentsSection for Vendors or Subs
Please help develop a functions to add 3rd party vendors/subs that may be used as needed or 1-time. The primary point would be contact and database of vendors with info and docs needed for our team to access if needed as well as would be nice for them to have scheduling, invoicing with pics and job tracking capabilities.Rocio3 months agoContributor 2114Views2likes1CommentHow to fix GPS tracking issues in the Jobber app?
I am struggling with the GPS function I went through all of my workers phones and made sure that they are set up correctly. Sometimes they work some what right and sometimes they don't work at all. Every now and then they work completely correctly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or is anyone else having this problem? Hi! I'm Ronen, Product Manager for the Workforce Team at Jobber. I'm looking to speak with business owners or admins who prepare payroll for their team. I'm looking to learn about your process, pain points, and how we can better support this task in Jobber. The new timesheets update rolled out for me today—did anyone else get it? I’d really love to hear what others think. At a high level, I can see what Jobber was trying to do, but in practice it’s added time to my workflow instead of saving it. **A few specific changes I’ve noticed:** **1. GPS Tracking Changes** Each entry now has its own GPS icon, but instead of opening a full daily view for that employee, it’s now a small pop-up map. I have to zoom in significantly just to see the address—and repeat that for every single entry. Previously, I could see all of an employee’s starts, stops, and job completions for the day in one place. Now it takes much longer to review the same information. **2. “Add Entry” Pop-Up Issue** The new Add Entry window is fixed and can’t be moved, which means it blocks the schedule behind it. I manually add drive time between jobs, so I need to reference both the start and end times of each job. Since I can’t see that information while entering it, I have to keep closing or working around the pop-up—this adds a lot of extra steps throughout the day. **3. Loss of Real-Time Job Duration** This is the biggest issue for me. Timesheets no longer show the *current* duration while a timer is running—only the final duration after it’s stopped. For my business, that real-time visibility is important. If a job is running long, I rely on that to check in with my team and make sure everything is on track. Losing that feature is a big step backward. --- I’m a smaller company with just a few employees, so it’s possible these changes are geared more toward larger teams. But for me, this update has made things more time-consuming rather than more efficient. Curious if others are experiencing the same—or if there are workflows I’m missing that make this easier?LynnG5 months agoContributor 3251Views1like3CommentsNon billable hour tracking in Jobber (time clock workarounds)
I use Jobber and am finding the Time Clock feature too limited for my needs. While I don’t plan on switching from Jobber any time soon, I wanted to reach out to the community to see what others have done in this situation. I can’t imagine I’m the only one facing this issue. My main concern is that the "General" time clock category hides too much information. Having only the options for clocking "Job Time" or "General" time leaves a lot of room for error, in my opinion. For example, when a team member has a slow day and completes various "overhead" or "non-billable" tasks, it all gets lumped under "General" time. For our company, these tasks include picking up chemicals from a supplier, fixing a headlight on a truck, delivering door hangers, etc. Relying on team members to make their own notes after the fact or expecting an admin to remember these details later feels unsustainable. If we see that a team member has clocked 5 hours on a job and 3 hours under "General" time, it could easily be mistaken for them simply forgetting to clock out for the day. My team is small, but I imagine this issue is even more pronounced in larger teams. Can anyone suggest workarounds or solutions they’ve found? Maybe I need to put more focus on verifying these manual adjustments, but that feels quite labor-intensive. Thanks!Solved2.1KViews6likes28Comments
