If I remember correctly, I thought they said we would hear by July 17,2026 but I don't know for sure. For some reason that date is sticking out to me....best of luck to all, fingers crossed
Just got an email today saying I didn't make the cut, but urged to apply next year. I didn't really think I would, because although I fall under the IT category and I am a service-based business, I think they are looking at more skilled trades that can actually utilize all features of Jobber at the start. Hiring a bunch of people in the near future isn't really my plan either.

Was doing some "research" and what I found out was the "winners" would be notified first, then the rest that didn't make it would be notified a week or so later. Not sure how true, but wouldn't surprise me either...

Looking at the precise program schedule, Phase Three evaluations and interviews actually wrapped up back on July 17, with final winner notifications closing out through this week ending July 31. Since that interview window has passed, it unfortunately confirms...
I was thinking that too but most of us haven’t had any updates yet nor status on our applications. I’m thinking they’re behind schedule. I haven’t gotten any denials from them yet so we’ll have to wait and see.

I don't think it necessarily confirms, today is the 28th of July. You just shared evaluations and interviews wrapped up July 17th with final winter notifications closing out through this week ending July 31st that still gives everybody a few days, and I'm pretty sure somebody will announce something that big were accepted and or jobber themselves will make some type of notification. However if we don't hear anything in the near future then I would say yes that would be confirmation but today is only the 28th and they could have gotten behind there was a lot of people that applied. Just keep the faith stay strong and fingers crossed for all.....

Im thinking with an opportunity like this they most likely have a lot of great candidates to consider and it may be by the end of this week before notifications emails go out. This opportunity most definitely could be a game changer.

While we are disappointed not to have been selected, but honestly, this process forced me to look at the bigger picture.
As a growing home-service business, I’ve used Jobber firsthand, and there are several areas where the platform falls short for real operators in the field. Instead of continuing to complain about those limitations, I’ve decided to use that frustration as motivation.
My long-term goal is to build software created by service-business owners, for service-business owners—software that is more intuitive, more flexible, and actually reflects what happens day to day in the field.
So while we didn’t receive the grant, we may have received something more valuable: clarity.
Congratulations to the businesses selected. As for us, we’ll keep building—with or without anyone’s approval.
A grant can fund a vision, but it can’t create one. The drive to solve real problems is what builds lasting businesses. Keep building — the people who refuse to quit are usually the ones who change the game. 💪
