Any advise on how to learn about Google Ads coming from knowing absolutely nothing??

I have been getting some very positive reviews on Google and want to start to leverage that by getting some Google Ads started up, but I know less than nothing about what that entails. I would like to try to manage it myself so I don't have to pay someone, but I have no idea where to start. Where to learn. I have tried YouTube but the videos I have found seem to be for someone with a little understanding, I have none!

Has anyone had this problem and started from the ground to learn? Any advice on where to look to get that basic start?

    Youtube, and Chatgpt,  I'm far from a seasoned pro when it comes to technology, and chatgpt was able to walk me through setting up my google search ads.  Google local service ads are pretty straight forward to setup, google walks you through it step by step.  Depending on where you are at with your business, you may want to setup yourself to avoid the added overhead cost that comes with hiring a company.

    I learned years ago by finding a great YouTube video on the step format, and video format. Even google has a learning page.

    PestFreeCanada​ - just based on your name I see you are in Canada. I am in Calgary and I can recommend my marketing team. Agree with ryaantuttle​ I am good at a lot of things, but the maze of Goolge Ads I am not.   We get 70% of our leads through google ads.  Let me know I would be happy to connect you.

    This is the best advice you will ever receive about Google ads.... Hire someone that knows what they are doing and specializes in this.
