How do you stay motivated as an entrepreneur when facing constant rejection?

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to my fellow entrepreneurs.

I am a serial entrepreneur with multiple businesses, but I have a strong passion for serving in real estate and traditional home-related services. People often contact me for down payment assistance, closing cost help, home improvements, foreclosure prevention, rental assistance, debt relief, or support for first-time homebuyers. I connect people with the resources they need to maintain and sustain homeownership, promote housing stability, and ensure safe housing.

Recently, I decided to form a nonprofit with my amazing team because I’ve mostly been referring people to resources, but I want to become a direct resource myself.

If you’re a new entrepreneur or a seasoned one like me, you know that starting or working on something often involves a lot of rejection.

Today, I’m just reaching out to see how everyone stays motivated. My motivation has always been my community and service.

    Having my goals for the next month, 6 months, a year ... Out where I can see it. In my work space, visible is extremely important. Seeing it gives it a tangibility. It also keeps it in/ on my mind - currently, constantly, consistently.  This helps me on bummed out days or if the clouds hang a little lower.  Hey it happens. So going back to my goals give me the inspiration to keep going.  You can pray, meditate, release gratitude when you get a little off track.  Think about what meeting your goals means to you personally l, your business, team, family, community etc.  this really helps me snap back. 🤍💐

    We have children to raise and we don’t want to see them stuck in the “rat race.” We keep God at the center of our lives and our business and we keep faith that he’ll make it work for us. We’ve been pushed down and stunted because we can’t get funding, our business has been running for 8 - 9 months and the thing is, we’ve got most of our money out in invoices and equipment we’ve footed the bill for. It’s so hard to press on when you feel like you’re suppressed due to not having any backing.
