Where is that tipping point?
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm still relatively early in building my business, and over the past year I've tried just about everything I know to do.
I've built the website, developed the products, created educational content, advertised, followed up with leads, networked, built professional relationships, sought mentorship, and kept learning and adjusting along the way.
Most recently, I wrote and published The Custom Home Planning System on Amazon. I created it to help homeowners better understand and prepare for the design and building process, and it felt like another way I could take what I've learned over the years and turn it into something useful for the people I ultimately want to serve.
I believe in what I'm building, but I'll admit there are days when I wonder what that tipping point looks like.
For those of you who have been in business for a while, was there one thing that finally made your business take off?
Was there a particular decision, relationship, marketing channel, client, or change that noticeably shifted things? Or was there no defining moment, and eventually all those years of consistent effort simply started compounding?
I'd especially love to hear from those who remember the period before things really started working. Looking back now, what do you wish you had understood while you were still in it?
