Improving Internal Communication with Your Team
Effective internal communication is key to running a smooth operation. I've implemented weekly check-ins, the Slack App for our day to day communication and an open-door policy if the want chat in person to encourage my team to share their concerns and ideas. What strategies have you used to improve communication within your team? How have these changes influenced your team's performance?

We love using Slack for community with our team. We have different channels built out to share 5 star reviews, before and after pictures, and meeting notes.

We use Whatsapp - we have a general chat for 'All Hands' where we share info, pictures, jokes or nice comments from customers, and individual chats for each Team Member to get in touch. We also use SageHR's 'Announcement' feature if there are updates to Policy documents and other more formal communications. We also have an open door for anyone to speak to us. I have heard of Slack in the past but never bothered with it as Whatsapp kind of works for us - what are the benefits of using it?

Its also important to follow your org chart and chain of command. Highly recommend weekly meetings for each department. We do a field crew meeting on Monday mornings at 7AM, we have a weekly sales meeting, operations meeting and an office meeting.
