Any integrations that add internal notes?

In an attempt to streamline most of our client data into Jobber while keeping it organizied, we use a series of internal notes to track communication, scheduling, crew notes, etc.

Has anyone found any of the integrations that are able to add a note when certain actions happens. Or even add to a note when something happens.

Example: each time a new client is created, a series of notes are added with specific text, one for "OFFICE NOTES", one for "SALES REP NOTES", one for "SCHEDULING NOTES"

  • Hey aarontree . So this sounds like more of an 'internal automation' where every time a Client is created you want to add three separate notes, right?

Alternatively, are you wanting to somehow have another system add a note to a Client when a certain action happens? If so, can you give an example? Notes are heavily utilized by some Jobber users and I've found everyone uses them very differently.

Internal or external doesn't matter, I'd be interested if anyone has figured out a way to automatically add notes in this way.

Bottom line, in theory, this appears to be possible. As a Jobber Developer Partner I've been digging into a number of things surrounding Notes lately aarontree and here is what I have found out so far...

Notes are not a standalone object within Jobber's architecture. What this means is that they always have to be accessed through the 'parent' record, Client, Request, Quote, etc.

I'm going to first work on testing this with Client notes. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the additional context.

This is a great idea - does anyone else have a solution for this??
