What’s a non-negotiable work/life boundary you have?

What’s a work/life boundary you’ll never compromise on? And how has it helped running your business?

In this episode of Masters of Home Service, WiringByron and KellyUGuerrero get into:

  • Why working late is usually a systems problem, not a time problem
  • Letting go of the need to always be available and learning to delegate
  • Small boundary changes that actually protect your health and time

  • My "No Compromise" is taking my daughter to school in the morning. I think most importantly it is my responsibility as my wife has to leave before me, but also it is my time alone with my daughter. We sing and dance, walk slow looking at sticks and flowers, chit chat about whatever and spend time together.

I am sure I could figure out something to get her to school if I wasn't available, but I don't want to think about that at all. On the same token, I could take on a job that starts at 8am and that is one more job a day, but again it's not something I am willing to comprmise on.

I listened last night, good one. Enjoyed this talk. Erin,

This is the sort of episode where I think if it wasn't in a polished podcast format like this, we could definitely get a little bit deeper. Especially with so many business owners that have large family responsibilities at home. It's something a lot of people can really relate to, and also a lot of people are struggling with this.

  • This was a lot of fun to talk about and so important to avoid business owner burnout!  Thanks for sharing!
