Rapid Quick Win Checklist – Micah Event Production
- Polish Cover & Logo. The cover image is clear and branded, but the cursive font is hard to read at that size. Shrink the logo slightly or balance it with an event photo on one side for context. This will keep the branding strong but make it easier to read at a glance.
- Intro & About. Current intro (“help anyone’s dream event become a reality”) is fine, but it’s missing location and services. Add your city and specific event types (weddings, corporate, parties). Fully fill out the About section and address for credibility and searchability.
- Featured & Albums. Only one featured video from 2023 - refresh this, stat! As an event planning company, you should be showcasing albums for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and styled shoots. Hire a videographer for polished highlight reels.
- Content Strategy. Gorgeous photography is a strength - lean into it! But watch for overuse of emojis and Canva graphics (they can cheapen the aesthetic). You’ve had more than four events this summer - show them off! Create an editorial calendar for consistent posting and add more of YOU into the feed.
- Engagement. Currently, there is next to no engagement - there are tons of opportunities to ignite that feed! Share personal content (behind-the-scenes planning moments, team intros), tag venues/vendors, and engage with local businesses to start conversations.
- Brand Lift. The foundation is solid, but the overall presence could benefit from a branding revamp and relaunch, incorporating consistent visuals, regular posts, and a strong voice that matches your stunning event work.
💡 Pro Tip: Create an “Event Spotlight” series where each post walks through one event: start with the client’s vision, share behind-the-scenes planning, then reveal the final look with a photo album or short video. This tells a story, positions you as a creative partner, and builds excitement in your feed.
