Rapid Quick Win Checklist – Lighthouse Lawn Care Services
- Cover & Visuals. Clever logo - love it! Bright green lawn on the cover image is gorgeous, but it’s blurry and that random tree smack in the middle is distracting. Swap it for a crisp, high-quality photo (bonus if it includes a branded truck or team member).
- Intro & About. Intro is just a list of services right now; make it more welcoming. Add a tagline and weave in your top services with the service area. Beef up the About section by including the full street address (not just city/state), switch to a branded email, and use that 3,000-character description space to tell your story.
- Featured Posts & Albums. No featured posts and no albums = missed opportunity. Add featured posts that highlight your best work, testimonials, or community involvement. Create albums like: Before & After Transformations, Team in Action, Seasonal Lawns, Community Work.
- Content Frequency. Posting is sporadic (December → June → August). Time to create a content calendar. Current posts are foggy images with minimal content... you're skipping the AI fluff which is great, but inject energy, branding, and strategy into what you're posting. Think: weekly tips, client shoutouts, project highlights.
- Engagement & Community. Engagement is basically nonexistent, but you can start small with just one post a week to kick it off: tag local businesses, share local events, comment on partner posts. Build that reciprocity.
- Brand Personality. People don’t just hire lawn care, they hire people. Show your team, behind-the-scenes moments, even the “oops, it rained all day” reality. Add some human touch, and it’ll instantly feel more approachable.
💡 Pro Tip: Start with a simple “Lawn Tip Tuesday” or “Fresh Cut Friday” series - it's easy, predictable content that gets people used to engaging with you week after week.
