From Blurry Covers to Brand Personality: Top Lessons Learned This Week
Thank you to everyone who shared their pages this week! I’m sorry I couldn’t get to all of them, but wow, there were some clear patterns that popped up across the ones I did review. I’ll be pulling together a full Top 10 Post soon, but for now, here are the biggest takeaways from this round of audits:
- Blurry covers are everywhere. First impressions matter! Facebook cover size is 820 x 360 px.
- Half-filled bios = half-baked SEO. Too many Intros and About sections don’t list service area, services, or contact info. Local SEO begins here.
- AI is running wild. A lot of businesses are posting straight AI-generated content without editing. It shows. Take 2 minutes to make it your own voice. Your brand personality is what makes you memorable, not a wall of generic AI emojis.
- Human content wins. The posts that stood out were team photos, community involvement, and behind-the-scenes - not just Canva templates.
- Consistency is king. Once-a-month posting is too light, 10x-a-day is too heavy. The sweet spot is usually 2-3 solid posts per week, with variety.
So here’s my question to you all: What’s the #1 thing you’re taking away for your own page?
