Hi there,
For myself (Electrical business) - I post to Instagram / facebook / Linkedin / Youtube / Pintrest / GMB page (updates)
Now these are free organic posts. I have heard of people doing well on facebook with paid ads. I'm no expert on that though.
If I was you I would use something like Go High Level / Publer / Buffer to post to all of these accounts in one place. It just makes it easier. But post to all of them, each one has some benefits.
Instagram - I have the largest following there, seems to get a lot of views
Facebook - I don't see a lot of traction on my business facebook page for whatever reason
Linkedin - I feel like you can easily gain some eyes here but make sure these posts are the same as the other platforms, must be more business related
Youtube - I think it's sneaky good. It doesn't seem like I'm blowing up on youtube but I will regularly have people reach out to me saying I've watched all your youtube vids... I'm going to lean more in to youtube in the future I think
Pintrest - I only post here for SEO purposes
GMB page - Definitely update this daily so google knows you are relevant and you will see the calls come in. Posting daily here and working on my overall SEO has helped bring in more calls and revenue this year compared to last year.
I haven't really bothered with tik tok yet to give you info on that.
I don't think I've used marketing suite for any of this so far. I do use the email campaign feature though and it's been great.
Good luck !

Love this topic: They all bring their own take, there's no one clear cut decision.
We’ve used all the major platforms, but each one serves a different purpose depending on what you’re trying to get out of it.Instagram has been the most valuable for storytelling and personal branding.
It gets us in front of the right audience and helps build exposure.
We’re not using it to sell directly, it's about building reputation and exposure.
Especially in the electrical space, people already know our name, but Instagram helps keep us visible and consistent & for SEO also.
It works best when you're highlighting the people, the process, and behind the work.YouTube has been great for long-form storytelling.
We use it to highlight expertise, walk through pricing, projects, and lessons learned.
It's not quick win content, but it builds long term trust and authority. It helps more on our training courses now. Rather than Electrical contracting.LinkedIn is where we’ve seen the biggest business impact.
That’s where we secured a $2.2 million contract for a two-year agreement with a national solar company to handle statewide work here in Connecticut.
It’s B2B.
You're not speaking to homeowners, you’re speaking to corporate decision-makers.You have to speak their language:
Efficiency. Credibility. Proven process.
They don’t want trial-and-error. They want someone who understands the job and solves problems before they happen. Bigger ticket items. Each platform has a different audience and expectation.
Instagram and Facebook are more about trust, service, and flexibility.
LinkedIn is about leadership, clarity, and showing that you're ready to handle scale. Each has its own algorithm and you have to tailor each one accordingly.
