Hi, performance marketer here! I worked with my client who is uses Jobber to help scale his Christmas Light business. We had a massively successful paid advertising campaign this season and generated nearly 300 qualified leads that resulted in a positive return on ad spend. Here's a few notes that should help you succeed in media:
- Clear targeting: use Meta's Advantage+ targeting but also know who/where your client is, if you can give some more specific parameters (Zip codes, HHI, etc.) it will help your ads reach the right customers
- short copy that is to the point with a clear call to action
- Multiple ad creatives that you swap in every 4-6 weeks (you can use Canva to create your assets)
- Think less about a per day budget and more about a total spend and total length of time for your campaign. Meta's activity varies quite a bit every day so $50 on Monday won't spend with the same efficiency on Tuesday.
- Google Ads is helpful, you have limited ways to optimize, but it's worth spending there to ensure you are visible when a customer is searching for you.
