Does anybody have any tips to motivate/energize my crew to take photos, record videos, etc onsite that we can then use to create content for our social media pages? I haven't started asking them to do it yet, but I want to see if anyone has any success stories from their fields.
You can create a checklist in Jobber and add it to the call, and you can make the questions mandatory. You can create as many types of checklists as you want and add them to the calls you want. You can add a bunch of sections, basically whatever you want!
I agree with PestFreeCanada, you have to make it a part of their core responsibilities with a checklist and talk about it each week/month during your team meetings. Maybe make it a monthly contest that the person with the most photos submitted gets a free "date night" with their spouse to a restaurant or something. The more you remind people, the more they realize it'll be something they will be held accountable for.

You could also potentially prepare a short shot list for each crew member. Based on your industry, here's what comes top of mind:
- 15 sec video of picking up items
- 15 sec video of throwing items in truck
- 15 sec video of crew member driving giving thumbs up
Get them to upload them into one google drive where it will be easiest for you to pick out your favorite shots + you'll know who filmed/uploaded what.
Make it super easy for them. Another idea is to put together a "vision board" with photo inspo ideas that work well for your industry. As a visual learner, that would be super helpful.
I would keep it simple and make it part of the routine. Maybe ask for just 2 or 3 specific shots per job instead of ‘take content.’ People are more likely to do it if they know exactly what you want. A small monthly prize for the best photo or video could make it fun too.
