Google Reviews Not Syncing to Website

Hi.

I've set up my website using Jobber's website builder and connected it to my Google Business Profile to display customer reviews as testimonials.

The issue: When I first published the site, it pulled in my Google reviews perfectly. However, as new reviews come in on my Google profile, they're not syncing to the website - it's still showing the same number of reviews from when I initially connected it.

 

My questions:

  1. Is this a known limitation, or should the reviews sync automatically?
  2. If they don't auto-sync, is there a manual refresh button or process I'm missing?
  3. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did you resolve it?

    Hi YaakovLewin​ ,

    At this time, the Google reviews section in Jobber Website Builder is static; it does not automatically refresh as new reviews come in. There is not currently a manual refresh button either.

    We would be happy to share your feedback that it would be better if this auto refreshed, because staying up to date without extra steps, I can see how that would definitely be ideal.

    For a workaround, you can refresh the content shown by editing your website, removing the Google Business reviews element, then adding it back and reconnecting it. That will pull in a fresh set of reviews from your Google profile.

      krista​ I do not find that work around to be true. I have taken off my google profile several times, refreshed, added it back... done all the things and it still show the same 3 reviews. It also does not show the right amount of reviews our business has. Do you know when this feature will be fixed? In the industries that benefit from Jobber- these features are very important for our customers.

    Thank you for trying those steps and for following up. I completely understand how important accurate and up-to-date reviews are, especially in industries where social proof plays such a big role.

    Since the workaround is not pulling in updated reviews for you, I would recommend reaching out directly to our Success Team. They can take a closer look at your specific website and Google connection to see what is happening and confirm whether this is expected behavior or something that needs further investigation.
