I think having a simple system is the key. Even if you don’t need formal drawings, having a detailed scope, photos, measurements, material list, and a quick walkthrough checklist can eliminate a lot of confusion. The goal is to get what’s in your head onto paper so the crew doesn’t have to rely on memory or constant calls. As you grow, that kind of documentation becomes just as important as having good people.
And I guess now Jobber has sort of built in custom forms for assessments, right? Probably there's something there that could be dug into.

Yeah, definitely worth exploring. If the custom forms can be built around the way you actually assess a job, it could make the whole process more consistent and save a lot of time. The key is getting the right information captured upfront so you’re not chasing details later.

But video.... so much better than taking notes. And the AI would put together any notes you like anyways.
