Forecasting in Jobber Feels Impossible — What Are Other Companies Doing?
Has anyone figured out a solid way to forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue inside Jobber? Ever since switching to Jobber, we’ve felt completely in the dark when it comes to forecasting and planning. We base a lot of our company goals around projected monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue, but the reporting tools seem heavily focused on completed work only — not future scheduled work. We’ve tried: Pulling Visits reports (not very accurate for forecasting revenue) Separating recurring vs one-off work (also not very accurate) Looking through Insights/dashboard reports But we still can’t get a clear picture of: Forecasted revenue Upcoming scheduled revenue Total jobs scheduled for future months/quarters Number of jobs completed vs upcoming How many jobs we’re actually doing each month Ideally, we’d love to see: Revenue projections based on scheduled visits/jobs Monthly/quarterly/yearly forecasting Scheduled vs unscheduled work totals Job counts by month A future-facing reporting dashboard Right now it feels like all the reports only show historical/completed numbers, which makes planning really frustrating. What are other companies doing for forecasting inside Jobber? Are you using a workaround, exporting reports to spreadsheets, integrating with another software, or using a marketplace app? Would really appreciate hearing how others are handling this because we can’t be the only company struggling with this.11Views0likes0CommentsCancellation report
So apparently there is no report to run that shows cancelled/unscheduled jobs in a given time period. Has anyone else asked for this feature? I just asked customer service to submit as a requested feature - hopefully, it's fast-tracked as I can't see how this isn't available. Has anyone found some way with zapier to track your canceled jobs and their values so you can track that metric?221Views2likes6CommentsHow to back up job photos and files from Jobber?
Hey all, just wondering if this is something others have run into. A few of our clients have been talking about how they handle long-term storage of job photos and documents, especially when staff leave, or when they want to organize files outside of Jobber. Some mentioned wanting to move things to Google Drive or DropBox automatically, but I’m not sure how common that need really is. Just curious, have you or your team thought about this? Is keeping a backup of Jobber media files part of your process, or not really a concern? Appreciate any thoughts! Josh299Views0likes2CommentsHow do you utilize reports in your business?
I am curious to hear which reports you consider most valuable in your business and what actions are taken based on those reports if anyone is willing to share. Are there reports that you use regularly in Jobber or reports that you wish were part of Jobber? If so how do you utilize the information that the reports provide? Are changes made based on the reports? Is the data used to create the reports monitored internally for consistency? Thanks for sharing all input is helpful!718Views5likes15CommentsVisits Report Bug
Hey Everyone! Has anyone noticed an issue with the Visits report showing incorrect pricing for recurring jobs? We have a cleaning biz, and schedule visits for the year for our recurring clients (example, biweekly, monthly, etc.). We use the Visits report for accounting, but I noticed that after a round of price increases, the Visits report displays the new, higher price for all visits in the past (even though they are completed and closed). I've contacted support, but they said it is working correctly. I also found at least one customer for which the price displays as a totally different price that we've never charged for all visits in 2024, but shows the actual current price we are charging for all of her 2025 visits. I'm trying to figure out how the Visit Based price field is pulled when running the Visits report, and if others rely heavily on this report as well. Please help!Solved141Views0likes1Comment
