What would you add? Here are 10 things you can do when business gets slow to help drive more business: Call past clients. Cheapest client to acquire but most overlooked. Send out monthly newsletters that have nothing to do with sales. Just connect. Relationships are the goal. Send out handwritten cards to past clients with a $5 Gift Card for coffee. Create raving fans who market your business for you! Hit the street. Get door hangers and go door to door. Get your team to join you! Double down on networking relationships. Schedule a meeting every day with a different referral partner. Don’t cut back on marketing. Cut down on other areas but never marketing. Double down on marketing when others are pulling back. Negotiate costs with vendors instead. See how partnerships could lower costs or help cover costs…for example providing co-branded marketing material. Be disciplined and active on social media and community pages. Low hanging fruit. Serve. Givers gain. Give your time, your expertise, and resources and it will come back to you. Communicate with your team. Let them know what they can do to help. Don’t suffer in silence…before it’s too late. Start a service contract that keeps you top of mind with your clients all year and generates reoccurring revenue. LEARN. IMPLEMENT. TAKE MASSIVE ACTION! 😎🤙🏼14Views0likes0CommentsBest way to gain more clients?
Hello everyone! I am new to the entrepreneurial world. I recently started a lawn care and landscaping business. I am curious what have other had most success with when trying to gain more clients? Paying for ads on social media, go door to door and hand out flyers/cards? What's the best way to go about things?550Views8likes26CommentsMost of Your Problems Are Communication Problems
I learned this the hard way - I always assumed people knew or understood what I needed, instead of communicating because I did not want to have the hard conversation. I wanted to be liked more than understood. But here’s what I’ve learned the hard way: Most mistakes, delays, and drama on a jobsite don’t come from bad workers — they come from unclear instructions. It’s not that people don’t want to do good work. It’s that we assume they understood what we meant. And when assumptions lead the conversation, everything breaks down. So I built this visual to help myself, my team, and now other contractors get clear. What’s one breakdown you’ve had that could’ve been solved with clearer communication?12Views0likes0CommentsGMB how to get listed as a mobile business
Hi, My name is Deanna and I am a sole owner/operater for Pawsitive Lawns LLC. I am starting small, as I have limited capital right now and using personal funds, but I got rejected from listing my business on google my business because of my physical location is my house, but I will be traveling to residential and commercial locations, not having people come to my location. Does anyone know how to get a mobile service listed correctly so I can be "googled" in my service area? Thank you in advance for any and all help. I have always been pretty bad at asking for reviews when i finish a project and i am trying to change this moving forward. Is there a way to categorize customers by who has and has not given you a review? I will have my secretary call and email previous customers moving forward to give us a review but i want to make sure we mark this down so that we are not constantly asking the same customers.649Views1like6Comments🎙️ Marketing Insights for 2025

Anyone here use RealWork? https://www.realworklabs.com/ Direct integration with Jobber. Among other things, they promise to improve your SEO in towns where you do jobs but you are not based and for services and jobs that are outside of what you categorize yourself as under your Google My Business. They create a map widget for your jobs that pulls in details, photos, and reviews. Google supposedly likes that content and you can also use that functionality to send job examples and case studies. They quoted me $500 / month for a six month contract. Seems a bit expensive but if it does what it says it can do, seems potentially worth it.396Views1like1Comment
