Customer Q: Can Route Optimization set start/end points without adding them as visits?
Route Optimization doesn’t yet support fixed start and end locations that aren’t visits, but it’s something we’re exploring for the future. In the meantime, here’s a workaround you can use: Add your yard or storefront as two visits. In your Anytime visits list, drag one to the first slot (start) and other to the last slot (end). When running Route Optimization, check the options for Start and End appointments. This will make the route calculate from and back to that location. Not at this time. Route Optimization works by taking visits you’ve already assigned to a specific team member and arranging them into the most efficient route. It doesn’t factor in technician skill sets yet. That said, we’re always looking for ways to make scheduling smarter, and this may be something we explore in the future.Customer Q: Is Jobber Voice AI access permission based?
That is correct! Voice respects the user permissions already set in your account. Users will not be able to do anything through Voice that they do not have permission to access. On top of that, Voice is only available to admins and owners of the account at this time. Access for non-admin users will be coming soon. For more information on Voice, check out our Help Center. --- Full question: Is Jobber Voice AI access permission based? Not yet. Currently, routes can’t be saved for future use, but we know this is a valuable feature for many businesses. We’re always exploring ways to make scheduling and routing more efficient, so this may be something we add down the road!Customer Q: Can route optimization use job time to suggest scheduling slots?
Full question: Does route optimization allow us to enter an amount of time for a job, to give us times to schedule clients within a day (not just the order)? Route Optimization is only available for “Anytime” visits—those that don’t need to happen at a specific time. If you’re scheduling visits that require set times, you’ll want to use our Find a Time feature instead. Find a Time suggests the best available slots by considering the appointment length, drive time, and your team’s availability, making it easy to schedule efficiently without guesswork. This feature is now available on the New Schedule.
