We just surveyed over 1,000 home service business owners across the U.S. and gathered real-time stats about how they're using AI in their day-to-day operations. The gap between businesses using AI and those that aren’t is starting to show: 88% of businesses who are fully-booked use AI vs 27% of businesses who are still filling their calendars Here's what 52% of the 1,050 home service business owners surveyed say they use AI for: 54% for quoting 52% for invoicing 51% for writing emails and proposals Younger owners are adopting it fastest --> 64% of business owners under 30 already use AI. Curious how this compares to what you're seeing in your own business. Are you currently using AI for quoting, scheduling, or customer communication? Or is it something you're still exploring?110Views1like9CommentsWho told us we don’t belong and what happens when we build anyway?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot as I build in spaces where people don’t traditionally expect us to be especially in technology and innovation. For a long time, many of us have been told, directly or indirectly, what industries we “fit” into. But what happens when we stop waiting for permission and start building our own lanes? That’s what I’m doing with Epitome Clothing Company and the development of EpitomeXR and VizorXR creating something that blends culture, fashion, and immersive technology in a way that reflects us. I’m curious what industries have you felt overlooked in or underestimated in? And what would it look like if you built something there anyway? I believe the next wave of innovation won’t just come from traditional paths it’ll come from people bold enough to create new ones.9Views0likes0CommentsStarting a New Hardscape Division While Busy with Landscape Maintenance Team
How do you actually start a new division of your business while still managing day-to-day operations? Between quoting, scheduling, and running jobs, it’s hard to carve out time to build something new. Curious how others have handled this without things falling through the cracks. What worked for you? Context: our "bread and butter" as a landscaping company has been in residential maintenance (lawn cutting, care, property clean-ups, trimming, garden care, softscape / small hardscape installs, etc.). My business partner and I are near max capacity with taking on more residential maintenance clients and would like to get into higher earning, longer term, larger projects on the install / design side of landscaping.23Views0likes1CommentAI Integration w/ Jobber! What's Working for Your Stack?
Hey everyone, first post here, excited to be part of the community. I run a residential cleaning operation in McKinney, TX, and I've been building an AI-assisted ops stack around Jobber. Claude is my primary AI layer for things like client communications, scheduling logic, and business analysis, but Jobber doesn't have a native Claude integration, which creates friction. I'm currently evaluating two paths: 1. Build a custom integration via Make, Zapier, or N8N (I have experience with all three) 2. Use an existing AI app that already connects with Jobber natively Before I invest time in a custom build, I wanted to ask the community: has anyone found a solid AI tool that connects directly with Jobber and handles tasks like drafting client messages, analyzing job data, or automating follow-ups? Open to any direction, like: native apps, workflow tools, or APIs you've had success with. Thanks in advance. Rafael Andrade63Views0likes3CommentsCustomize Jobber with ADI, SAS, ect Catalogs
Hi, We recently noticed that Jobber now offers Home Depot as a catalog option, which has been a great addition and very helpful for our team. We are wondering if it is possible to add additional supplier catalogs, such as ADI, LiftMaster, SAS, S&SI, and similar vendors, in the same way the Home Depot catalog is integrated. Since our company specializes in security systems, gates, and access control, having catalog options from suppliers within this industry would be extremely beneficial when creating quotes and managing materials. Does anyone know if this functionality is currently available, or if there are plans for Jobber to expand catalog integrations to include other suppliers? This would be a valuable feature for companies working in specialized trades like ours.29Views1like2CommentsWhat Supplementary PM Software Are you using with Jobber?
Jobber has that sales pipeline which is still in beta but is limited to the info on jobs. Especially for you GCs out there, what other PM software are you using and HOW are you using it? I've been using a trello board but I feel like most my time is just "cleaning up" the trello board instead of it actually benefitting the business. I'm looking in to a solution that can be more automated with zaps, can help disseminate information from sales to production, and that can help make us more efficient.46Views0likes1CommentEditing a job from the schedule section?
Maybe I am missing a button somewhere but... Is there a way to edit a job (add a product or service, change unit prices) from the schedule menu? A client calls before I am at the job and wants to add a certain service to the job booking, so I click on the job from the schedule menu and all I can change is the quantity, service date/time or Job Title. Even when I click Edit or View Details I still can't change any of that information. Does anyone have a work around rather than having to click out of the schedule and go into the Jobs section?40Views0likes1CommentJobber Media Opportunity!
