Quickbooks vs Xero!
Which have you guys found is easier to sync with jobber? quickbooks, or Xero? I tried syncing my account with Quickbooks, but I had $40k worth of undistributed funds, and would have to go through about 1,000 invoices individually to fix. called Jobber, they said its was quickbooks fault, and quickbooks said it was jobbers fault. I hate that there isn't someone from both ends that will hop on a call with you! Will most likely switch to Xero, what's been your guys experience with them?30Views0likes0CommentsHow Are You Building Your Systems & Processes?
I’ve been diving into ways to build better systems and processes lately, and I’m curious to learn from the community. Whether it's managing workflows, tracking progress, or using flowcharts, there are so many tools and methods out there to explore. What are you using to stay organized, efficient, and productive? Are you a fan of tools like Lucidchart, Trello, or Asana? What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced in building systems that actually work for you or your team? Personally, I’ve been experimenting with Chatgpt and Lucidchart, but I’m always looking for fresh ideas to improve. Let’s share what’s working (or not!) and inspire each other to level up our workflows. Looking forward to hearing about your tools, processes, and insights!103Views1like8CommentsJobber Failing to update features
I have contacted Jobber on multiple occasions. We mow seasonally. We need an option to turn the routes off during the winter. Currently we have to go through each customer at the beginning of the Spring season to move the start date, in order to clear the "late visits" The other thing they need to do like Service Auto Pilot, is allow you to skip a week. If it is during acrought and some yards do not need mowed and get skipped, we need to be able to hit skip. The customer should not be charge and it would pick up on the schedule to following week. I have also contacted them about mows from many months earlier that have already been paid, randomly appearing on numberous customer's invoices.119Views4likes8CommentsBest way to handle inbound calls to company line?
Curious yalls thoughts. Looking to not just grow, looking to scale and improve / continue to implement systems. Currently have myself, 1 outside sales rep, and field labor crew (fence install company) current process: customer calls into company # (my cell phone). I try to answer as if it were an office line to answer asap. From that, I confirm I can Text them, I then send a request form via jobber that has basic info / few questions to answer. If / when they fill it out, I add to the schedule for a confirmed day / time to quote on site. etc…… I feel this part is a lot of back and forth, and until I have an in house admin office worker that can answer these calls the first ring - I won’t be able to truly grow / stay efficient. (If I’m tied up, I don’t like calling them back 2 hours later, etc) but also - I love having them fill out the form bc the way I have questions on it, it turns it from a warm lead, to a warmer lead. Any way to streamline this, get more efficient, improve this current process? ANY thoughts or advice - real thankful.343Views3likes11CommentsInventory Management Apps w/ Integration?
Hello all, My name is Kyle, and I'm the Office Manager with my company. Recently, we've made some moves to further improve the list of products that we sell, and services we provide. With this being said, our current method of keeping track of our inventory will have to improve with this. Does anyone know of any inventory management apps that integrate with Jobber that they'd recommend? I've looked into adding Ply into our Jobber, but I'm not entirely sure that it will solve all of our issues. I'm looking for some other routes we could take that could potentially work better for us. Thank you all for any and all recommendations! Kyle264Views2likes8CommentsSnowplowing routing
We are having trouble with the way that we currently have to schedule our teams for dispatching when it come time to our snow plowing events. With Jobber currently not having a way for the management team to efficiently dispatch a large number of clients to each team member at a short notice interval. We currently have to set a job as a repeating job but leave it unscheduled. This leads to the problem of not having the option of selecting a team member/ members. Being in a area of heavy snow and storms that require at time 2-3 dispatches we currently have not found a way to notify our drivers through jobber quickly. We are currently looking at other programs to accomplish this task like Folosoft. But am wondering if anyone has had a successful way of doing this. Our thoughts for Jobber would be to have a dispatch via the team member and or a group. Example customers on Truck #1 route is saved as Route #1 and can be scheduled to the date of service needed in the order that is pre-set. Then all you need to do is assign the team member to the route and good to go. Example #2 would be Tagging all customer under the route you want and then mass schedule them using the tagged word. Ultimately we would like to dispatch as quick as possible and have the route for the drivers to take be preset. Then all they would need to do is capture a finished photo and hit complete. This would also help us track completion rate as our team members go.70Views2likes2CommentsBest Jobber Automations

What are your best Jobber automations you have set up?? I really enjoy dashboards myself that give more custom information about my business. I like to use Airtable / Asana / Zapier. Hi All! I run a lawn care and gardening business and have struggled with getting all the KPIs I need from Jobber. I've had to spend many hours each month crunching numbers on spreadsheets that could have been spent growing my business. To solve this, I created a software platform that would pull in data from Jobber automatically and give me the numbers I need. Seems like KPI tracking is a common pain point amongst community members so I thought I’d create a post to start the conversation. What KPI’s are you obsessed with? What KPI’s feel hard to track? What metrics are you struggling to improve? If anyone is interested in the software, its called Crew Insight and we recently got it published to the Jobber marketplace so you can find it there or, at crew-insight.com.353Views4likes6Comments
